Raymond B. Charney, 84 of McKean, died Monday, January 10, 2022 at Rolling Fields Eldercare Community in Conneautville after a brief illness. He was born in Huey, PA on August 15, 1937, the son of the late John and Martha Charney.
Raymond worked for 40 years for the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority (EMTA) He enjoyed any time spent outdoors, fishing, hunting and going to camp. Most of all, he loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane in 2015; four brothers, John, Albert (Butch), Paul and George Charney; and two sisters, Merna Rainey and Irene (Wink) Charney.
Survivors include his son, Steve Charney of Venango; his daughter, Patricia (David) Cameroni of Edinboro; a brother, Charles Charney of Harborcreek; two sisters, Esther Charney of Erie and Alva Ohman of Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Shannon (Brian) King and Brandon Cameroni; and 5 great grandchildren, Brandi and Abby King, and Mia, Kaleb and Ella Cameroni.
No services will be held at this time.
