Margaret Roseberry, 86, of Erie, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, at Manchester Commons. She was born in Erie, PA on February 18, 1935, the daughter of the late Frances and Ann Duffy.
To know Margie was to love her. She was her family confidant, the go-to person, and a great listener. She was known for her quirky sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh just when they needed it most.
She worked for Marx Toys, and later Millcreek Community Hospital, where she was the only orderly at the time of her retirement in 1997.
Margie was an avid bowler and loved to swim and bargain shop. She loved to sing and dance, and especially loved spending time with friends and family. She was the life of the party wherever she went. She had a heart of gold and would go out of her way to help anyone in need.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Frank Roseberry in 2014; her sisters, Helen Shearer, Pat Spiegel, and Frances Zdunczyk; a brother, Bill Robins and her son-in-law, Norman Weir.
Survivors include her 3 daughters, Polly (Gene) Bihler, Kathy (Greg) Zygai, and Renee Weir; 2 sons, Frank (Karen) Roseberry, and Mike (Krys) Roseberry; also 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Avonia staff at Manchester Commons for their endless care and support.
