Jesse R. Tarbell, 69, of Edinboro, died Thursday, April 15, 2021 at his home. He was born in Erie on March 27, 1952, the son of the late Garner and Evelyn Tarbell.
Jesse worked most of his adult life in the foundry at Penn-Union in Edinboro, until his recent retirement. He loved working with metal, especially making and collecting knives. His other passions were working on and fixing cars, hunting and just being a general outdoorsman.
Survivors include, a daughter, Sarah (Frank) Malena of Erie; a son, Nicholas (Tara Pekelnicky) Aldrich of Girard; two brothers, Timothy Tarbell of Hermitage, PA and Garner “Buck” (Kitty) Tarbell of Edinboro; four sisters, Candace (Robert) Zemcik of Missouri, Tamara (Todd) Zuck of Fairview, Robyn (Ed) Kovschak of Waterford, and Veronica “Niki” (Jay) Salorino of Erie; also, two grandchildren, Addison and Hunter Malena; and his former wife, Jamie Tarbell of Edinboro.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Monday, April 19, 2021, from 4 to 6 p.m.
