James "Jim" Kuhn

June 2, 1951 — September 18, 2021

McKean

James 'Jim' A. Kuhn, 70, of McKean, passed away on September 18, 2021 after battling an unexpected illness.

Jim was born on June 2, 1951 to James G. and Sara F. Kuhn in Wattsburg, PA.  He shared many memories of his childhood growing up on the farm with his 5 sisters and brother. After graduating from Seneca High School in 1970,  he went on to study HVAC at Triangle Technical College. He worked 30 years as a HVAC Technician for Sears Roebuck.

In addition to his career, Jim had achieved many things in his life. He was a long time member of Knights of Columbus and achieved high honors. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan his whole life. He always enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, fishing, golfing, and camping.

Jim was a very devoted father. Family was most important to him.  He is survived by his ex-wife, Mildred E. Kuhn.  After many years of marriage, they were still always a family to each other. Also survived by his four children; John Kuhn, Kimberly Rowe, James C. Kuhn (wife Susan Kuhn), and Karilyn Kuhn.  He had always given his very best to support them all in every way possible.

Anyone who knew Jim, knew that he was the most loving father and papa any family could ask for. He will also be missed by his 5 granddaughters, 10 grandsons, and one great granddaughter, with more coming soon.  He will be with them, as well as everyone else, as he watches over all of us, blessing us all from Heaven.
