Grant Collier

Grant E. Collier, 83 of Cambridge Springs, PA died peacefully at AHN St. Vincent on Sunday, July 18, 2021 after a brief illness. He was born in Meadville, PA on June 16, 1938, the son of the late Al and Kathryn Collier.

Grant lived in Meadville until his graduation from Meadville High School in 1956. His working career took him into the auto body business, and he worked at Walker Brothers Buick Chevrolet in Edinboro for more than 40 years. After retirement, he worked for an additional 10 years at Range Resources as an injection well operator. He was also a Deputy Game Warden for 25 years and a Hunter Safety Instructor for 30 years. He was an avid trap shooter and outdoorsman, and was a member of several sportsmen and fishing clubs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Marcia, in 2016.

He is survived by a son, Brian, his wife, Tracy, and grandsons, Gavin and Bryson of Venango; son-in-law, Mike Maisner of Millcreek; and a sister, Donna Sadler of Sheffield.

No services will be observed.

The Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Edinboro, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
