Susan M. Abramoski

Susan M. Abramoski, 66 of Edinboro, went into Gods’ loving arms on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Erie on Sept. 14, 1957, the daughter of the late Edward and Rose Podalski.

Susie was a 1976 graduate of East High School in Erie. She worked at the PA Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Home in Erie for more than 30 years.  Following retirement, she worked in home health care taking care of her beloved Margie.

Susie enjoyed going to the casino with her best friend and playing lottery scratch tickets.  Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren, who were her whole entire world.

She was preceded in death by her step-daughter, Holly Abramoski; a brother, George Podalski; and a grandson, Gregory.

Survivors include her loving husband, John;  a son, John (Nicole) Abramoski of Girard;  three daughters, Jan (Rich) Abramoski of Edinboro, Kalie (Justin) Abramoski of Edinboro, and Brenda (Dean) Wright of Cambridge Springs; four brothers, Johnny, Chucky (Debbie), Billy and Mikey Podalski; three sisters, Judy (John) Falbo, Joanne Brandasse and Barb Hughes; also 12 grandchildren, Joseph, David, Garrett, Owen, Harper, Julian, Eli, Colson, Charlie, Maeve, Hadlee, Beau, and a grandson who will be earthside any day; her best friends, Chris Walker and Barbie Dietz; and her beloved pup, Zoey.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11 A.M. at Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie St., Edinboro, PA.  Susie had helped to plan, and was so excited for, a benefit in her honor to be held Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Edinboro Fire Hall.  It will now be a Celebration of Life and family and friends are all welcome ($20 donation at the door).
