Robert G. Trace, 76, of Albion, formerly of Cambridge Springs, died peacefully at his home on Monday, October 10, 2022 with his family by his side. He was born in Saegertown on October 11, 1945, the son of the late Arnold Trace Sr. and Betty McQueen.
Robert worked as a truck driver for Dave Klie Trucking for 28 years, logging trees for 20 years, and for Trace Lawn and Landscaping for 3 years. He loved to hunt, fish, go camping and working on things around the house.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert G. Trace, Jr. and a daughter, Linda Rene Trace both in 1978; a sister, Dian Buckley; also a brother and sister-in-law, Arnold and Cindy Trace, II.
Survivors include his loving wife of 19 years, Mary (Sensabaugh) Trace; sons, Roy Trace of Albion, Samuel (Bobbi Jo) Trace of Edinboro, and William Humphreys of Albion; a daughter, Ellen (Larry) Boumans of Edinboro, and Sandra (Daniel) Cole of Albion; grandchildren, Stephannie, Larry Jr., Justin, Anjelica, Tristin and Addysan; great-grandchildren, Morgan and Connor; a brother, Daniel (Connie) Trace of Meadville; and sisters, Margaret (Blane) Shade of Meadville and Nancy (Rand) Robinson of Michigan; also many nieces and nephews.
No services will be held at this time. The Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Edinboro, is in trusted with funeral arrangements.
