Richard C. Alward

Richard C. “Rick” Alward, 70, of Erie, died Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at his home. He was born in Edinboro on May 13, 1956, the son of the late James and Zola Alward.

Rick attended General McLane High School. He worked as a machinist for Lord Corporation for many years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Alward. He is survived by a number of aunts and uncles, and many cousins.

No calling hours will be observed. The Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Edinboro is entrusted with arrangements.
