Ralph Nicholas DeFelice, 73 of McKean, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at UPMC Hamot, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Erie, PA, on June 30, 1948, the son of Ralph (Linda) DeFelice and the late Celia DeFelice.
Ralph was a 1966 graduate of General McLane High School. He worked as a Machine Inspector for AMSCO in Erie for 38 ½ years, and co-owned Julios Pizzeria with his father.
Ralph enjoyed hunting, fishing and weekend trips to the flea market with his wife. He was a collector of many things. Most of all, he was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend to many. He loved spending time with his three children, six grandchildren and great granddaughter. He was known by all for his great sense of humor and willingness to help everyone and anyone.
Other than his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Nicky DeFelice and a brother-in-law, Bill Marucci.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Betty (Osterberg) DeFelice; two daughters, Kim (John) Kosaniak of Edinboro, and Tracy (Dennis) Walsh of Erie; a son, Scott (Shellynn) DeFelice of Waterford; six grandchildren, Patience, Karlee and Johnny Kosaniak, and Scott, Stonne, and Slade DeFelice; a great-granddaughter, Anna Kosaniak; three sisters; Carol Marucci, Sandy (Art) Mantz, and Debbie (Ken) Valerio; two brothers, Danny and David DeFelice; also, the best friend a guy could ever have for the past 50 years, Jim Minnis; and his little buddy, “Cruiser”.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
