Norman Richard Green, 80, of Waterford died Saturday, June
23, 2012 at Veterans Affairs Medical Center of Erie. He was born in Erie
on August 5, 1931. Son of the late Elwyn and Ruth Williams Green.
Norman was a decorated war veteran, serving during the Korean War in the
United States Army. He worked for Hayes and national Forge for many years.
He loved building models sun catchers and going to Pymatuning.
He was preceded in death by brothers Elwyn Green, Charles Green, Harley
Green, Ted Green, Walter Green and sisters Ethel Schuman, Elsie Lemke.
Survivors include his sons, Robert Harley Green and his wife Robin of
Sandy Lake, PA; Stephen Richard Green and his wife Beverly of Byram, MS;
his daughter Elizabeth Ann Ormsbee and her husband Kenneth of Waterford;
his brother Robert Green of TX; sisters Deloris Ward of Erie; Gertrude
Yaple of Warren; also eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
No calling hours will be observed.
