Myrtle Olive Brown, 92, of Edinboro, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017 at her home. She was born in Tionesta, Pa on August 31, 1924, daughter of the late Herbert and Edith McWilliams.

Myrtle enjoyed gardening, antique furniture, going antiquing with her daughter, and collecting Dept. 56 village houses. She loved spending time with her dog and best friend, Rufus.

She has previously worked at Lord Corp. but when her and her husband got married in 1955, she began working at home raising their family.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 60 years, Norman A. Brown, in 2015; three sisters, Helen Kay, Anna Knight and Mary Pulliam; and two brothers, Wayne and Clyde McWilliams.

Survivors include; a daughter, Diana (James) Carver of Edinboro; two sisters, Norma Stepanek of Cleveland and Janet (Conrad) Cwalinski; also a lifelong friend, Betty Watson.

Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 6 pm until the time of a funeral service at 8 p.m.

Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses, c/o Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie St., Edinboro, PA 16412. To send condolences please visit www.gluntfuneralhome.com.`
