Mary Agnes “Mick” (Simendinger) Keller, 86, of McKean, died, Sunday, July 23, 2017. She was born in Altoona, PA on April 7, 1931, the daughter of the late Clarence and Alma Simendinger.

She graduated from Altoona High School in 1950, then went to Mercy Hospital for Nursing, graduating in December of 1953. Mary received her BA Science degree in 1971 from Edinboro State College.

She worked as a registered nurse at Dr. Miller and Morris' office in Edinboro, followed by Millcreek Community Hospital where she retired after 23 years.

Mary enjoyed reading, making crafts, drawing, painting, gardening and sewing.

She was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in McKean Pa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Keller on November 12, 2014, a daughter: Linda Marie Keller, 4 brothers: Gerald, Lenard, Jimmy, and Harry; 3 sisters: Delores, Helen and Regina; and a grandchild: Kenneth Paul.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Chase, of Pittsburgh; 3 sons: Russell (Karen) Keller, of Edinboro, Charles (Penny) Keller and Richard Keller all of McKean; a grandson, Russell Paul Keller, of Edinboro; 3 sisters: Romayne (Raymond) Wagner, of Matamoras, Pa, Betty (Chub) Niemeyer, of Pleasant Hall, Pa, and Judy (Tom) Clossin, of Ashville, Pa; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Simendinger, of Hollidaysburg, Pa; 2 brothers; Joseph (June) Simendinger, of West Chester, OH and Paul (Sharon) Simendinger, of Ashville, Pa; also by her in-laws; Don and Mary Ann Keller, Ken and Ruth Keller, Mary and Joe Little and Joyce Storm, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 8880 Main St., McKean, Pa, Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held there on Friday at 11:00 a.m.
