Marian Tona Pifer, 86, of Edinboro, died Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Edinboro Manor. She was born August 12, 1938, the daughter of the late Anthony and Jeanette Gigliotti.
Tona had worked as a teller at PNC Bank in Edinboro and McKean for 17 years, retiring in 2002.
Tona enjoyed being a member of the Town and Country Garden Club, her sorority club, Beta Sigma Phi, and the Edinboro Historical Society. She and her husband enjoyed wintering in New Port Richey, Florida for 17 years.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Gigliotti.
Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years, Richard; two sons, Wayne (Becky) Pifer of Corry, and Mark (Michelle) Pifer of Edinboro; and three grandchildren, Kelly (Collin) Smith, Madison Pifer, and Matthew Pifer.
Friends may call at Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie St., Edinboro, on Monday, July 28, 2025 from 12 to 1 p.m. A service will follow there at 1 p.m.
