Linda M. Ackerman

Linda M. Ackerman, 74 of Edinboro, died Sunday, October 15, 2023 at home. She was born in Warren, PA on November 5, 1948, the daughter of the late Dwight and Catherine Carlson.

Linda attended Warren Area High School. She held various jobs throughout her life, but most recently worked in home health care as a caregiver before her retirement.  She enjoyed quilting, going to the casino and bingo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Ackerman in 2014; and a son, Lawrence Ackerman.

Linda is survived by her sons, Ronald Ackerman, Jr. and Martin Ackerman; a daughter, Melinda (David) Furry; a brother, Jeffrey Carlson; four sisters, Frances (Patrick) Grover, Helen (Tim) Remsburg, Sabrina (Dennis) Bosselman and Tammy Cacek; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Katie.  The family also extends their love and deep appreciation to her caregiver, Ashley Brown, for her compassion and care in Linda’s final days.

No calling hours will be observed. The Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Edinboro, is entrusted with Linda’s care.
