Lawrence “Larry” Kobylinski, 72 of Edinboro, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Erie on March 11, 1951, the son of the late Chester and Virginia Kobylinski.
Larry was a 1969 graduate of Cathedral Prep High School.
He worked as a foreman at American Meter for many years and retired from the Millcreek School District.
Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his grandchildren, watching his grandsons play baseball, taking his granddaughters to the local zoo & amusement park, and long walks along Edinboro Lake.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Kobylinski.
Survivors include his two daughters, Lauren (David) Swanson of Edinboro and Ashlee Kobylinski of Meadville; a son, Ryan (Andrea) of Edinboro; a sister, Diane (Bill) Dougherty of NY; a brother, Kenneth (Mary) Kobylinski of Harborcreek; 13 grandchildren, Kayla, Noah, Emily & Austin Kobylinski, Nicholas Schwab, Charlie, Benjamin, Jonah, Grace, Ruth, Mary, Anna & Rose Swanson; also, his close friends, fisher mates, and family, Ron Merski and Joey Kubiak.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 6 to 8 p.m followed by a memorial gathering. There will also be a Celebration of Larry's Life on Saturday, April 29th from 3 to 7 pm at the St. Francis Ushers Club, 9085 Main St., McKean, PA 16426.
