John Michael Quinlan, 58, of Edinboro, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012 in Elizabeth City, New Jersey. He was born in Oil City on May 22, 1953. Son of Colonel Daniel J. Quinlan and the late Ruby Ernst Jones Quinlan.
John was a Vietnam Vet, a two time purple heart recipient & an officer in the U.S. Army. He was an avid lover of hunting, fishing and golfing and loved sharing these interests with children. John was an active member of the Edinboro A.H. Club and past member Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department and Life Star.
He was preceded in death by his Mother.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Heydi del Carmen Tardenilla Sequeira Quinlan, of Edinboro; his daughter Carrie Carmen Quinlan of Edinboro; his father Colonel Daniel J. Quinlan of GA; brother Bill Quinlan and his wife Tammie of Hawaii; also many nephews, cousin, aunts and uncles.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 1200 noon.
