John William Hall II, 55, of Edinboro, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2016 at his home.  He was born in Syracuse, NY on November 27, 1960, the son of John W. Hall Sr, and Leona Hall from Conneaut, OH.

John graduated from General McLane High School in the class of 1979.  He joined the U.S. Marine Corp and served for 4 years. He worked as a Diesel Mechanic for Yancey Brothers in Atlanta for over 20 years.

John loved to hunt with Dylan and fish with John and Mitchell, with his passion being bass tournaments. John mainly fished the south east states which included Lake Lanier and Lake Hartwell as his favorites. In Johns retirement he picked up the game of golf and loved playing with his sister and parents. He had a passion for raising and training dogs with some of his favorites being Midnight and Caliber, his first  Rottweilers.  John loved camping and could be caught frequently enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.

Other than his parents, survivors include wife of 23 years Laurie Hall, three sons, John W. Hall III and Taylor, Mitchell S. Hall and Amanda, also a granddaughter, Shelby Lynn Hall  of Georgia, and Dylan Hall of Edinboro; two sisters, Susan L. Hostettler and her husband, Harold, of Edinboro, and Anita L. Jordan and her husband, Tom, of Georgia; John is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may gather at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 5 to 6:45 p.m. and are invited to attend a prayer service there at 6:45 p.m. with Rev. Lisa Grant officiating.
