Jennifer R. (Roach) Adams, 75, of Edinboro died Thursday, July 29, 2021 at home. She was born in Erie on June 28, 1946, the daughter of the late Allen and Eleanor (Russell) Roach.
Jenny graduated from Strong Vincent High School in 1964. She was an upholsterer at House of Edinboro for many years and later worked in food services at Edinboro University of PA. Lastly, she worked in the kitchen at the Erie/McKean VFW Club where she earned the nickname “Chop Chop”. She retired at 67.
In addition to working at the VFW club, she was also a long time member of the club, as well as a Lifetime Member of Erie County A.B.A.T.E., (Alliance of Bikers Aimed Toward Education). She especially enjoyed riding her 1978 Harley Davidson Super Glide, and referred to herself as “Just Jenny”, but for those who knew her, she was much more.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Tunney.
Jenny is survived by her husband of nearly 35 years, Richard “Rick”; a son, James (Kristen) Washok of Hurst, TX; a daughter, Kimberly (Robert) Jones of Bluffton, SC; a brother, Scott (Debbie) Roach of FL; and three grandchildren, Dakota and Autumn Washok and Cooper Jones.
No calling hours will be observed.
The Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Edinboro, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
