Jeffrey Lawrence Chivari, 56, of Albion, formerly of Franklin Center, passed away peacefully at home on, Monday, July 7, 2014 after a long fight with cancer.  He was born in Erie on October 24, 1957, the son of the late Stephen and June (McAnulty) Chivari, Jr..
Jeff was a General McLane High School graduate and then received a welding certificate from the Erie Co. Vo-Tech School.  He worked as a welder / fabricator for many different places including, the Erie Shipyard, Metro Machine, Ryley's and York-Seaway.
Jeff was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. He loved hunting, fishing, airplanes, roses, horses and his cat.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Chivari and his sister, Virginia Chivari.
Survivors include his wife, Sherri Chivari; three daughters, Jessica Mottern, Janiese Armagost Epply, and Heather Chivari; two sons, Justin and Jeffrey Chivari Nodzak; two step-sons, John Semai and David Myers; a step-daughter, Samantha Semai; a sister, Michelle Chivari, and 15 grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie St, Edinboro, on Sunday, July 13, 2014, from 4 pm until the time of a memorial service at 5 pm with Rev. Dennis Chludzinski officiating.
