Iva Davis

  Iva Robison Davis, 94 of Edinboro, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, March, 7, 2024. She was born in Cranesville, PA, on November 30, 1929, to the late John and Margaret Robison. 

  Iva's greatest joy in life was knowing Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord. She was a long time member of Cranesville Bible Church. She was active in many different church activities across the years-teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, deaconess, etc.

  Iva graduated from Albion High School in 1947 and attended Nyack College. She taught school at Girard Christian Academy for several years during the 1980's. She was a very generous Christian woman who helped others whenever she could.

  She enjoyed being a homemaker and liked to cook, sew, read, work in her garden and crossword puzzles.  

  Iva was preceded in death by 2 husbands, Fayette Robinson and Lawrence Lange; 9 brothers, John, Robert, Paul, Victor, Frank, Russell, Ralph “Buddy”, Wilmet and James Robison; 2 sisters, Gertrude and Margaret; a great granddaughter, Manuela; a great great granddaughter, Brinley; and a stepson, Robert Davis, Jr.

  She is survived by her adoring husband, Robert Davis to whom she had been married for 34 years. She is also survived by five children who were a great joy to her: Valerie (John) Dinger of Crossingville, Jason (Jayne) Robinson of Florida, Gail (David) Rodgers of North East, Craig Robinson of Pittsburgh and Lance (Janet) Robinson, Shippensburg. In addition, she is survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; also 2 step-children: Russell “Rusty” Davis and Kathy Booth and 7 step-grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Grace Fletcher, Ruth Pertl, Helen Eckels and a brother, Gene Robison.  Iva was very well loved by friends and family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
  Family and friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro,on Thursday,  March 14, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Cranesville Bible Church, 10029 Reed St., Cranesville, PA 16410 at 11:00 am.
