Helen Marie Fitzmaurice McGrane, 84, of Edinboro Manor, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the Edinboro Manor surrounded by her family and friends. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on May 24, 1925; daughter of the late James and Nellie Kelly Fitzmaurice.
Helen was a devout Catholic. She cherished her family and friends at Edinboro Manor where she was an active resident.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Miles Joseph McGrane, Jr. and her brother James Fitzmaurice.
Survivors include her son Miles Joseph McGrane, III, of New Kensington, PA; two daughters, Mary Ellen Stickle and her husband Dan of Edinboro; and Patricia Stokes and her husband Jack of New Kensington, PA; two sisters, Mary Fitzmaurice of Monroeville, PA; and Margaret Erikson of Philadelphia, PA; four grandchildren, Adam Stickle and his wife Jen; Nathanial Stickle and his wife Jody; Zachary Stickle; and and Amy Hammond and her husband Eric; four great grandchildren, Josh, Ellie, Matt, and Haley Stickle; also many nieces and nephews.
