Daniel Moul

Daniel A. Moul, 53 of Erie, died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at UPMC Hamot. He was born in Corry, PA on January 17, 1970, the son of Susan (Moul) Reed and the late Dell Moul.

Dan worked as a tile layer for Jay’s Flooring. He had over 30 years experience in tile laying design. He enjoyed motorcycles and fishing and loved to cook on the grill and smoke meat. Dan would light a fire in the evening and watch the flames dance, gather his thoughts for the next day and remember days long forgotten. Dan was loved dearly and now will be missed by his family.

He was preceded in death by a brother, David Moul, George Reed (2nd father), Dell Moul, and a step-brother, Ronnie Reed.

In addition to his mother, Dan is survived by two daughters, Megan and Alexandra Moul; three sisters, Suzie (Louis) DeLaura of New Jersey, Shyrl Forker of Colorado and Delene (Houston) Cannon of Oklahoma; his companion, Angela, his fiancé, of Berlin, Germany; three step-sisters, Velma Reed, Debbie Hicks, and Beth Owens; a step-brother, Terry Reed; also his best friend, Dan Davis and his neighbor boy, David, who called Dan, “Uncle Biker”.
