Christian Kenneth Mason, 72, of Edinboro, passed away peacefully at his home on September 22, 2018, following an extended illness. He was born in Erie, on November 19, 1945, the son of the late Rodney and Katherine Mason.
He attended East High School and went on to serve in the Army Reserves. He was employed by General Electric for 37 years as a Locomotive Test Man in Building 26. He was a member of the Edinboro American Legion Post #439, Edinboro/McKean VFW Post #740 and Cambridge Springs Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed traveling, target practice, shooting pool and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Theodore R. Mason.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 39 years, Ruth A. (Smisko) Mason; two sons, Kenneth C. Mason and Justin A. Mason, both of Erie; a sister, Audrey (William) Schaeffer of N.Y.; many nieces and nephews; his faithful canine companions, Cinnamon and Sugar; as well as a loving extended family and network of friends.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m.
