Blaine Dobson

Blaine Edgar Dobson, 80, of McKean, PA, went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2017. He was born in Erie, PA June 7, 1936, Son of the late Raymond and Mildred Orton Dobson.

Blaine served in the U. S. Army, then worked to support his family, finally retiring from R. M. Kerner. He always enjoyed a good story, riddle or joke and had a ready hand to help others. He will be missed by all.

Preceding him in death were his first wife Naomi Kelly Dobson, a son Stephen Dobson both accidentally in 1962, and a brother Lee Dobson.

He is survived by his loving and faithful wife, of 55 years, Rose Chase Dobson; two sons, David J. Dobson and Mark T. Dobson and wife Lisa Marie; two daughters Joan N. Breakall and husband Raymond, and Patricia C. Faulkner; two sisters Susan Reed of McLane and Beverly Gould of Florida; eight grandchildren, Scott and wife Maegan Breakall, Steven and wife Kelly Breakall, Michael and wife Megan Breakall, Patrick and wife May Breakall, Kelly Linn Breakall, Mark Dobson, Heather Faulkner, Nicholas Faulkner; and six great grandchildren.

He attended Edinboro Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held there on May 6 at 11:30 am. Contributions may be made to Edinboro Baptist Church. We would also like to thank the staff at The Manor for their kind and loving care.
