Betty Lilley

May 29, 1960 — September 3, 2013

Betty Jean Lilley passed after a long courageous battle with cancer.  She was born, May 29, 1960.  Daughter of Grace L. Humes and the late Delbert L. Humes.
Betty worked for many years as a CNA at Edinboro Manor, and surrounding nursing facilities.  She enjoyed gardening, watching hummingbirds, her dogs, Angel and Bandit, her cows Bill and Tiny and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She was preceded in death by her father Delbert L. Humes and long time companion Wilhelm Wagner.
Survivors include her mother, Grace L. Humes; son, Dave Lilley and his wife Amanda of Meadville; daughter Rebecca McCartney and her husband Greg of Cambridge Springs; her companion Jack Frazier of Cambridge Springs; four sisters, Darlene Bartley and her husband Mike of Corry; Delores Humes of Cambridge Springs; Carol Gosik and her husband Tony of Saegertown and Grace Humes and companion Wayne Harmon of Cambridge Springs; three brothers, Roger Humes of Cambridge Springs; Delbert Humes, Jr and companion Helen Rankin of Teepleville; and Steve Humes and companion Kathy Gill of Drakes Mills; two cherished grandchildren, Dakota Lilley and Sierra McCartney; two step grandchildren, Brittany and Bradley McCartney and many nieces and nephews.
No calling hours will be observed.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013, at 1:00 p.m., at John Stanley MacDuff American Legion Post 381.
