Betty Diane Shields Horn, 70, of Edinboro, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born in Meadville, on Nov. 18, 1939, the daughter of the late Glenn and Nina Andrews Shields.
Betty was a Machinist at Penn Union in Edinboro for 35 years.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel “Tiny” Shields.
Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, L. Finley Horn; two sons, Leslie D. Horn and his wife Kristine, and Robert G. Horn and his wife Marge, all of Edinboro; a daughter, Tamera J. Redfield and her husband Bruce, of Girard; a sister Janet Shields McArdle of Edinboro; and eight grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley & Alysha Horn, Jesse & Randy Redfield, Brandon, Ryan & Brett Horn.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home, 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Monday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A service will be held there on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Brian Kelly officiating.
