Mary Bernice “Bea” (Boyle) Kutz, 89, of McKean, died Friday, Sept. 11, 2015 at the Edinboro Manor.  She was born in Detroit, MI on December 21, 1925 the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth Boyle.
After losing both of her parents very young, Bea was raised in Bradford, PA, by her paternal Aunt's, Emma & Mary Boyle. She graduated from Villa Maria High School, in 1943. She attended St. Vincent Nursing School, graduating in 1946. Other than being a mother of 7, Bea worked as a registered nurse at St. Vincent Health Center from 1963 – 1987.
Along with her own family, she loved spending time with her “Nursing Club” ladies and their families. Bea also enjoyed reading, watching her favorite game shows and volunteering with many groups at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Edinboro of which she was a founding member.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Chester E. Kutz in 1989; a daughter, Carol Ann Kutz in 2013 and two brothers, John and William Boyle.
Survivors include, three sons, John Kutz and his wife, Leona, of Cambridge Springs, Bill Kutz of McKean and Jerry Kutz and his wife, Jackie, of Edinboro; three daughters, Sandy Boring and her husband, Jim, of Minnesota, Minnie Sprague and her husband, Brian, of Venango and Elaine Smith and her husband, Chuck, of McKean; a sister, Clara (Walter) Miller of Michigan; also, four grandchildren, Meghan (Steve) Dragosavac, Michael Kutz, Kaylee (Casey) Zaffke, and Matthew Bandemer; 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  A funeral mass will be held on Friday, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Edinboro, at 11:00 a.m..
Burial will be in Erie County Memorial Gardens.  Memorials may be made to the Our Lady of the Lake Church, 128 Sunset Drive, Edinboro, PA 16412, Regional Home Health and Hospice, 2564 Village Common Dr., Erie, PA 16506 or the ANNA Shelter, 1555 E. 10th St, Erie, PA 16511.
