Austin W. Hammond

Austin W. Hammond, 23, of McKean, died Thursday, January 1, 2026. He was born on Oct. 31, 2002, the son of Rodney and Cynthia Hammond.

Austin was a 2022 graduate of General McLane High School. He enjoyed riding 4 wheelers, building lego kits and collecting zippo lighters. He loved playing online video games with his friends and spending time with them around the campfire. Austin also loved animals.

Other than his parents, survivors include his brother, Dakota Hammond, and his grandfather, Charlie Chaple of McKean.

Friends may call at Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m.
