Anna Lemke

Anna Marie (Delbrook) Lemke, 93, of Erie, formerly of Edinboro, died Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Golden Living Center on Zuck Rd. She was born in Melcroft, PA on Dec 11, 1922, the daughter of the late John and Ruth Delbrook.

Anna Marie worked in the Millcreek School District in the cafeteria for more than 20 years. She also worked as a Giant Eagle greeter and demonstrator which she started in November of 2000. During WWII she helped in the TRW (Tactical Reconnaissance Wing) of the US Air Force.

Anna Marie enjoyed baking, cooking and spending time with her grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren W. Lemke, in 1979; a daughter, Dale Sue Donnelly, in 2006; two brothers, Harry and John Delbrook; and two sisters, Helen Jones and Goldie Lenarz.

Survivors include her two grandchildren, Shane and Brennan Donnelly; a stepdaughter, Audrey Petruzzi of Willoughby, OH; a stepson, Gordon Lemke of Redding, CA, a son-in-law, James Donnelly, and 4 step-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 210 Erie Street, Edinboro, on Monday from 5 pm until the time of a funeral service at 7 p.m.
