Breanna Lynn Elder was welcomed Home by her Lord Jesus on Sunday, September 18, 2022. She had been welcomed to this world by Tim, Darla, and big brother, Caleb Elder (Monica Meyer), on Feb. 3, 1994 in Erie, PA. Bre is greatly loved by her maternal grandparents, Rev. Victor and Barbara Baxter of Brockway, and her paternal grandparents, Nada and (late) Rev. Jack Elder of Edinboro, as well as her Aunt Robin, Uncle John, Aunt Amy, cousins, and many friends.
Bre attended General McLane schools. As a student, she participated in softball, basketball, and Broadway Dinner Theater.
Bre was devoted to her Christian faith and to her Edinboro United Methodist Church family. Being a person of faith, she served at the Redbird Mission with her beloved friend, (late) Lindsay Kightlinger and was a member of the Ramps of Hope team. She taught Sunday School at EUMC and served as youth leader there.
Bre graduated from Edinboro University in 2016 with a B.A. Degree in Education and a Master’s of Special Education in December 2021. Anyone who knew Bre knows that she greatly loved being an Autistic Support Teacher and lived for her students at Tracy Elementary School. She had also been a member of the Edinboro Fighting Scots Softball Team.
