Marjorie L. Leube, 82, of McKean, died Friday, March 8, 2019 at home. She was born in Erie on July 29, 1936, the daughter of the late Howard and Louella Plautz.
Marjorie was a talented seamstress throughout her life. She and her husband, Ken, owned and operated Leube Bros. Western Auto/Leube Bros. Hardware in McKean for many years. She worked as a teller for PNC Bank in the McKean, Edinboro and Summit locations, and most recently worked at Barbara's Hallmark in Summit Towne Center. She was Past Matron of the former Edinboro Chapter #359 of Eastern Star and a current member of Albion Chapter #22. She attended Trinity Lutheran Church in McKean and served on the church council there for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; a daughter, Linda Rhodes; a son-in-law, Kevin Sedler, and her brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Sharon Plautz.
Survivors include her sons, James Leube, of McKean and Thomas Leube, of Erie; a daughter, Susan Sedler, of Girard; a sister, Sally (Robert) Bolte, of West Springfield; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 4950 N. Main Street, McKean on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11 a.m.
The Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Edinboro, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
